A 5L diving tank is filled to a pressure of 34 atm with He and then is topped off with O2 to a total pressure of 40 atm. what is the mole fraction of oxygen in the tank?

how do you find this answer?

Partial pressure of oxygen is 40-34=6.

Mole fraction of oxygen = partial pressure of oxygen/total pressure:

Mole fraction of oxygen = 6/40 = 0.15

My dads mum is sick and apparantly she can’t breath or something so I was wondering if anyone one knew where we can purchase an oxygen tank and like the whole shebang you know??

Any medical supply company. They also have the nasal canula or masks, which ever you want, and keep you supplied with both oxygen and masks. Most insurances will pay most or all of home care needs. If it is for welding you would need to do a tank exchange at a welding supply company. Breathing oxygen is sold through Home health service businesses. They are not one and the same.

There is another point in Dead Space where you have to fight while you are in a vacuum. Meaning, you are in a part of the ship that is exposed to the vacuum of space. Therefore, you need your oxygen tank. You have 60 seconds before the air in your tank runs out. You either got to replenish your tank with a recharger, or you gotta get out of that room. I love this part the most because all the sound has been muted due to you being in space. The only thing you can really hear is your heart beating and the timer counting down.

It gets really intense…
