All surgical tools are removed, the gas is drawn from the abdominal cavity, and the patient is awakened and moved to the recovery ward to be watched and takrn care of by the nurses, as well as by the anesthetist who makes sure the person is good and without any problems. On the average, 2 to four hours later almost all patients are ready to be discharged.
Patients are observed one week after the surgery to look at the small surgical incisions and take off any stitches if required. Generally, the tubal reversal few stitches that were placed will be below the skin and will be absorbed by the tissues, without the need for manual removal.
