the altitude we are booked to go already Is it that serious? Doctor said to check it out but he advised against it we live near geelong victoria he is on Oxygen 16 hours+ a day after lobectomy for lung cancer Please advise.

So… you’re expecting our advice to trump that of his doctors? If his doctor said it is ill advised to travel to there then that’s what he means, and there is a reason for it!

Of course don’t go. Gezz, that advice is from his doctor and no one on this site is better qualified. Even if there are MDs at this site, they haven’t examined him. So go with his doctor’s advice.
