The Security Forces have recovered another massive bomb factory of the LTTE terrorists from Pudukkudiyiruppu.
The Security Forces after capturing Pudukkudiyiruppu West entered Ampalavanpokkani in the afternoon. The terrorists possessed East and West of Pudukkuduyiruppu in addition to Ampalavanpokkani, after launching heavy attacks. Fighting lasted for four days. 40 terrorists have been killed. The 58th Division recovered paraphernalia of the sea tigers that could be used in an attack from under water. Among them were diving kits, under water scooters, oxygen cylinders. There were several instruments that could have been used to unleash a major destruction from underneath the water.
